Microwave Corn Heating Pad and Corn Bag for the back, abdomen, and larger muscles. Natural moist heat that holds longer than rice or flax, with cold therapy whenever you need it. Handmade by our family with whole corn, in our Parisian Clippings fabric.
WHY WHOLE CORN
Most heating pads are filled with rice or flax. We use whole dried corn on purpose. Corn holds its heat longer and gives a moist heat that works into tired muscles, not just the surface. Research on heat therapy shows moist heat eases sore muscles and stiff joints at least as well as dry heat, often faster. The corn is naturally weighted, so it settles where you ache and stays put. No cords, no electricity, nothing to plug in or throw away. A natural, drug-free way to warm up and feel better.
MADE TO LAST
Double-lined and double-stitched, so it holds up for years. Filled with commercially dried feed corn, the variety with the right moisture content for true moist heat, and guaranteed not to pop. Divided into three inner sections so the corn stays evenly spread and never slides to one end.
SIZE
Large, approx. 10" x 8". Covers the lower back or the abdomen for cramps, and also works on the shoulders, knees, or larger muscle groups.
HOW TO USE
Hot: Microwave 1 minute, then add 30 seconds at a time until it is as warm as you like. Do not overheat, and never more than 4 minutes total.
Cold: Slip it into a plastic freezer bag and freeze. For the coldest pack, freeze overnight.
FOR EVERY AGE AND SEASON
Eases sore muscles, a stiff back, period cramps, aching knees, cold hands and feet, or a headache. Straight from the freezer it becomes a cool pack for swelling, bumps, or a hot-flash night. One bag, all ages, all year, and a thoughtful gift for a parent, a friend, or anyone who runs cold.
Made for comfort and temporary relief, not a medical device. If you have a health concern, check with your doctor.
